We didn’t do a lot of tours in Japan but we did stay in a lot of hotels. This was the longest trip we’ve taken and we moved around frequently, spending 5 nights in Tokyo, 1 in Hakone, 2 in Osaka, 2 in Hiroshima, 3 in Kyoto, and the final night near the Narita Airport. It was a little overwhelming to pick hotels in such large cities but by and large we really liked where we stayed.
