This was our first split stay in Orlando, spending time at both Universal Orlando Resort and Disney World. And we even split our Universal stay between two hotels! With two teenage boys, our needs were a little different on this trip than on previous Disney visits. Basically, we required more space and the freedom to set our own schedule. The hotels reviewed below were each a great fit for different legs of our trip, and each served their individual purpose perfectly.
